The company is funding a competition for schools in Australia and New Zealand to promote the idea of where food comes from.
The prize is money for gardening tools…
The best bit is the bit which involves the children…. To win they must collect bar codes from McCains frozen foods and McCains range of packaged potatoes!
So ostensibly, the school community which eats the most processed frozen foods is a winner and the children learn….?
It is a pity that our schools should feel so short of funds that they could fall for such a see through advertising campaign and sadder still that they present it as a great thing to our children Best not think about the last part and just laugh at the irony of it all
